AND SO WE START EVERY YEAR WITH JUST REVISING AND MAKING SURE THAT WE HAVE THE STRONGEST MASTER SCHEDULE THAT SUPPORTS THAT MISSION AND VISION. AND IT'S REALLY HARD TO BRING EVERYONE TOGETHER AND ALWAYS HAVE THAT CORE FOCUS, WHICH IS THE REASON WHY WE HAD OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT TO MAKE SURE THAT ALTHOUGH WE ALL HAD OUR DIFFERENT LENSES, WE WERE ALL GOING IN THE SAME DIRECTION TO MAKE SURE THAT WE WERE MEETING THE NEEDS OF EVERY SINGLE STUDENT IN AN INDIVIDUALIZED WAY.

SO ONE OF THE THINGS THIS SUMMER WHEN I HELPED WITH CURRICULUM WRITING FOR MTSS WAS THAT WE REALLY WANTED TO STREAMLINE THE PROCESSES ACROSS EVERYONE IN THE DISTRICT. AND ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE SAID WAS THAT WE REALLY NEEDED A WAY TO MAKE SURE WE DIDN'T MISS ANY STUDENTS.
AND THEN I BLACKED OUT EVERYTHING ELSE.
98 TIMES THE TEACHER REQUESTED A FOLLOW UP MEETING, SO THEY ALREADY WERE GETTING WHAT THEY NEEDED AND STILL WANTED TO GO BACK AND MAKE SURE THAT IT WAS STILL EXACTLY WHAT THE STUDENT NEEDED. 22 TIMES A TEACHER WANTED TO ADDRESS A CONCERN ABOUT A CHILD'S SPEECH, AND THEY DIDN'T QUITE KNOW WHERE TO GO WITH THAT.
AND SO THEY REQUESTED AN MTS MEETING 25 TIMES.
A TEACHER WANTED TO ADDRESS READING CONCERNS 147 TIMES WAS MATH CONCERNS.
AND SO WE HAVE BUILT THIS PROGRAM AT BUDA THAT REALLY IS GOING FROM TIER ONE TO TIER THREE.
WE HAVE STUDENTS THAT FLOW UP AND DOWN THROUGH THAT PROCESS, AND WE'RE JUST REALLY PROUD OF BEING ABLE TO REACH EVERY SINGLE STUDENT IN OUR SCHOOL WITH ALL OF THEIR NEEDS AS A WHOLE.
