ALL RIGHT. SO I WANTED TO START BY SAYING THAT WE'RE SUPER EXCITED TO HAVE A FEW MINUTES TO SHOW OFF ALL OF THE AWESOME THINGS ABOUT PFLUGER.

WE KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT ENOUGH TIME TO REALLY GET INTO JUST ALL THE MAGICAL THINGS THAT MAKE PFLUGER JUST THE BEST PLACE TO BE, BUT WE'RE GOING TO DO OUR BEST WITH THE TIME THAT WE HAVE. SO STARTING WITH OUR MISSION AND VISION.

OUR PFLUGER FALCON MISSION IS TO NURTURE A LOVE FOR LEARNING FOR OUR STUDENTS THROUGH A COMMUNITY THAT STRIVES TO SOAR.

AND SO OUR PFLUGER FALCON MISSION STATEMENT I'M GOING TO NEED SOME HELP FROM OUR FALCONS.

SO I'M GOING TO HAVE MY FALCONS STAND UP HERE.

AND SO LET'S GO AHEAD AND SHARE OUR PFLUGER MISSION STATEMENT.

Y'ALL CAN SIT BACK DOWN. ALRIGHT SO WE DO BELIEVE IN TEACHING THE WHOLE CHILD, CREATING THAT POSITIVE, NURTURING AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT AND RECOGNIZING EACH OF OUR STUDENTS FOR WHO THEY ARE AND FOSTERING THOSE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR COMMUNITY AND FAMILY.

JUST A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US. WE ARE CURRENTLY OUR ENROLLMENT HAS WENT UP, SO WE ARE HOVERING RIGHT AROUND 800 RIGHT NOW.

SO WE'RE GOING 800 STRONG. WE'VE ENROLLED SEVERAL STUDENTS THIS WEEK AND SO WE HAVE MORE COMING EVERY DAY, WHICH WE'RE SUPER EXCITED TO GROW OUR FALCON FAMILY.

YOU CAN SEE SOME OF OUR OUR SUB POPS HERE. OUR ECO DIS NUMBERS WE HAVE A DIVERSE CAMPUS, WHICH I THINK IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT MAKES PFLUGER SUCH A SPECIAL PLACE IS WE HAVE SUCH A MIXTURE. AND SO A WIDE VARIETY THAT JOIN US THERE.

WE DO HAVE OUR ATTENDANCE RATE THERE AS WELL AT 94%.

WE'RE WORKING EVERY DAY TO GET THAT UP AS HIGH AS WE POSSIBLY CAN.

AND SO MOVING INTO OUR PLCS. SO THE PLC PROCESS AT PFLUGER JUST TO BRAG ON THEM.

OUR TEACHERS ARE PHENOMENAL. WE PLC WEEKLY ON THURSDAYS.

AND THAT IS GOING TO LOOK DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON WHAT THE NEEDS OF THE WEEK WOULD BE. AND SO DEPENDING ON THOSE NEEDS, THAT'S GOING TO DICTATE WHETHER WE'RE WHOLE GROUP, WHETHER WE'RE GRADE LEVEL OR CONTENT LEVEL SPECIFIC.

WE ALSO ARE EMBRACING THE 15 DAY CHALLENGE WITH OUR MATH AND SCIENCE TEAMS. WE'VE REALLY APPRECIATED THE JUST IN TIME TRAININGS THIS YEAR AND THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT WE'VE HAD WITH THOSE HALF AND HALF DAYS.

OUR TEACHERS HAVE HAD SO MUCH MORE TIME TO BE ABLE TO COLLABORATE WITH EACH OTHER AND PLAN WITH EACH OTHER.

AND SO WE JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU AND LET YOU KNOW THAT THOSE ARE THAT TIME IS SO, SO APPRECIATED.

AND THEN 100% HAYS. SO WE REALLY TAKE THIS TO HEART.

AND AT PFLUGER, WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF OUR STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE.

AND SO WE HAVE SHIFTED CLUBS TO DURING THE SCHOOL DAY TO ENSURE THAT THAT IS NOT AN OBSTACLE OR A BARRIER FOR OUR STUDENTS TO NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN SOMETHING THAT THEY ARE INTERESTED IN. SO WHILE WE ALSO HAVE, YOU KNOW, OUR CLUBS SUCH AS LIKE WE HAVE LEGO CLUB, FRIENDSHIP BRACELET CLUB, YOU CAN SEE OUR VR HEADSET CLUB THAT OUR FIFTH GRADERS GO ON VIRTUAL TOURS ALL OVER THE WORLD AND GET TO HAVE REALLY COOL EXPERIENCES THAT WAY. BUT WE ALSO HAVE AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS LIKE DESTINATION IMAGINATION.

THEY'RE ACTUALLY OFF TO ARLINGTON RIGHT NOW. OUR THIRD GRADE TEAM.

THEY ADVANCED TO STATE. SO WE WANT TO CELEBRATE THAT THEM.

WE HAVE OUR SCIENCE FAIR STUDENTS THAT WERE ABLE TO ADVANCE AND EARN FIRST PLACE AT AUSTIN REGIONAL.

SO A LOT OF AWESOME THINGS TO CELEBRATE THERE.

AND EVEN OUR FL ADAPTIVE CLASS, THEY'RE PARTICIPATING IN CLUB DAY OUTSIDE.

SO JUST REALLY MAKING SURE EVERYBODY IS INCLUDED.

WE ARE AN EMERGENT TREE CAMPUS FOR OUR PBIS AND SEL PROGRAMS. SO WE'RE BIG ON BRAG BOARDS. EVERY TIME WE'VE HAD A GOAL, WE HAVE MET OUR BRAG BOARD GOAL.

WE'VE ACTUALLY EXCEEDED IT. SO YOU SEE, WE'RE GETTING SLIMED UP THERE.

THAT WAS ONE OF OUR FIRST BRAG BOARD INCENTIVE REWARDS.

WE'VE REALLY EMPHASIZED POSITIVE REFERRALS THIS YEAR.

SO OUR STUDENTS ARE RECOGNIZED THROUGH POSITIVE REFERRALS, EARNING CERTIFICATES, EARNING.

YOU KNOW, WE'VE TRIED TO CHANGE IT UP LIKE SNACKS IN THE CAFETERIA.

WE CALL THEIR NAMES ON THE ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REALLY JUST TRY TO CELEBRATE THEM FOR THE AWESOME THINGS THAT THEY DO. AND OF COURSE, THROWING ASSEMBLIES AND ALL THE THINGS WE CAN AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE. BUT NONE OF THAT WOULD BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT OUR FANTASTIC STAFF.

SO WE'VE HAD AMAZING CELEBRATIONS THIS YEAR. WE STARTED OUR YEAR WITH A SCAVENGER HUNT ON THE FIRST DAY OF OUR YEAR BACK TOGETHER BECAUSE OUR THEME IS TO SOAR TO NEW HEIGHTS THIS YEAR. SO WE ENDED UP AT AVIATOR PIZZA AND WE'RE ABLE TO HAVE SOME TEAM BUILDING THERE.

WE HAVE A MONTHLY SOARING FALCON AWARD. SO REALLY JUST LOOKING FOR AS MANY WAYS TO GET OUR STAFF TO CELEBRATE EACH OTHER.

THEY RECOGNIZE EACH OTHER, WE DO WEEKLY SHOUT OUTS.

SO REALLY TRYING TO BUILD THAT RECOGNITION BECAUSE THEY ALL DESERVE IT SO MUCH.

AND THEN CELEBRATIONS, IT WAS REALLY HARD TO DECIDE.

I SEE LOTS OF POINTING AT THE PICTURES UP HERE.

BUT WE WE'VE HAD SO MUCH TO CELEBRATE THIS YEAR.

FROM OUR BATTLE OF THE BOOKS, WE HAD OUR BOOSTER THON A LITTLE SNIPPET HERE FROM OUR LION KING.

OUR 100 DAYS OF SCHOOL, OUR SPELLING BEE OR WE HAD A FIRST GRADER PLAY SECOND IN THE DISTRICT SPELLING BEE.

SO, SO MUCH TO CELEBRATE. AND WE REALLY JUST COULD NOT BE PROUDER OF OUR FALCONS AT PFLUGER AND ALL THE THINGS WE ARE DOING.

UPDATE ON DISTRICT SAFETY AND SECURITY INITIATIVES.

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE. PURSUANT TO OUR CLOSED SESSION MEETING, WE ARE DOING OUR OPEN PRESENTATION IN REGARDS TO A FINDING BY TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY ON AN INTRUDER DETECTION AUDIT THAT WAS CONDUCTED ON A HAYS CISD CAMPUS ON MARCH 4TH OF 2025. WHAT ULTIMATELY ENDED UP HAPPENING IF IT WAS AN EXTREMELY WINDY DAY VERY HIGH WINDS AS AS WE'VE BEEN EXPERIENCING IN THIS AREA. AND WHAT WE FOUND WAS THAT WE HAD A DOOR THAT DID NOT COMPLETELY CLOSE.

IT WAS LOCKED. HOWEVER, IT DID NOT SECURE APPROPRIATELY DURING THOSE THINGS DURING THE WEATHER EVENT, AS WELL AS AS A CHECK BY THE PERSON WHO WAS AN ADULT COMING THROUGH THAT PARTICULAR DOOR.

AS A RESULT, WHEN THE AUDITOR CAME ON TO THE CAMPUS, FOUND THE DOOR OPEN AND UNSECURED IT WAS IN AN AREA THAT IS FENCED OFF IN THE BACK PORTION OF THAT PARTICULAR AREA, WHICH IS SLATED FOR ADDITIONAL FENCING TO GO UP.

UNFORTUNATELY, ONE SIDE IS SIX FOOT, THE OTHER SIDE WAS THREE FOOT, AND IT IS AN INAPPROPRIATE PERIMETER AREA THAT WE WANTED TO HAVE EXPOSED IN THAT WAY.

ULTIMATELY, WHAT HAPPENED IS PURSUANT TO WHAT TEA REQUIRES IS WE HAVE TO HAVE A MEETING WITH OUR DISTRICT SAFETY ADVISORY COMMITTEE, WHICH WE DID IMMEDIATELY THE FOLLOWING DAY. AS A RESULT OF THAT, THE PARTICULAR CAMPUS SET UP OUR CLASSROOM TRAINING OR OUR CAMPUS TRAINING FOR THAT AFTERNOON. IT COINCIDED WITH AN EVENT THAT THEY ALREADY HAD ON CAMPUS.

WE CONDUCTED THAT TRAINING ON THAT ON THE FIFTH AS WELL AS THE 26TH.

SO WE DID FINISH ALL OF THE REQUISITE INFORMATION ON THAT.

WE ALSO PUT IN A WORK ORDER FOR THAT PARTICULAR DOOR TO ADJUST THE CLOSURE.

WE DO STRUGGLE WITH THAT SOMEWHAT BECAUSE OF SOME OF OUR BUILDINGS AND THE AGE.

WE TRY REALLY HARD NOT TO MAKE THEM SUPER HEAVY BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT LITTLES FINGERS GETTING CAUGHT IN THEM, ETC. SO WE'RE CONSTANTLY HAVING TO BATTLE, YOU KNOW, ADJUSTING THEM TO MAKE THEM A LITTLE BIT TIGHTER, A LITTLE BIT LOOSER, AND OBVIOUSLY WITH SHIFTING.
